H1 mk4 Integrated Amplifier, 2x120W in 8 ohms, 2x200W in
4 ohms.
The H1 mk4 is based
on technology from the H200
integrated amplifier. The H1 mk4 has got
the new digitally controlled
active preamp stage from the
H200
and the new and improved
SoundEngine amplifier technology
from the H200 amplifier.
The reduction of dynamic
distortion all over the audible
frequency range together with
complete elimination of "transistor sound"
makes the H1 mk4 sound smooth,
warm and
transparent without losing any details.The
integrated amplifier H1 mk4 is the entry level amplifier among the Hegel
products. It has now been
upgraded with new technology
from the H200 amplifier. The H1 has got
the characteristic Hegel-curve
in the front panel, and both input
source and volume can be
controlled from the Hegel remote
control.
The H1 mk4 has got a relay
switched input source selector
and can be connected to
different types of music
sources.
The amplifier has got very high power
output and will happily drive demanding loudspeaker loads.
The H1 mk4 can deliver an
output signal current in excess
of 70 amperes. The amplifier
is very dynamic and will drive the speakers with
a deep powerful bass and a high
resolution smooth midrange with
a detailed soundstage.
The H1 mk4 integrated amplifier is
using the new and improved
SoundEngine technology from the Hegel
H200, H2A mk2 and H4A mk2 amplifiers.

H1 mk4 is using the Hegel SoundEngine
amplifier technology.
The H1 mk4 has got connectors for both unbalanced and balanced
signal cables.
