Each
channel of the H2A is divided into
completely
separate voltage gain and current
gain stages.
For the listener this will give
a higher dynamic range, better
improved position of instruments
and smoother high frequencies.
The reduction of dynamic
distortion all over the audible
frequency range together with
complete elimination of "transistor sound"
makes the H2A mk2 sound smooth and
transparent without losing any details.
The H2A mk2 power amplifier is the
smaller brother of the H4A mk2
Reference Amplifier. Based
on the same technology as the bigger sibling,
the H2A mk2 offers identical
features and 2x200 watt /
130A. Unmistakably HEGEL, with the characteristic
curved front panel, and
uniquely user friendly with its single
power button. A discrete blue
control light indicates that the amplifier is on.
Behind it's confident front panel, the
H2A mk2 has extreme power reserves and is
capable of powering very
demanding speaker loads.
H2A mk2 can deliver a current
output
signal of more than 130 A. It is not only designed to drive large and
complex speakers,- it is also detailed and delicately precise to be used with
small and medium size speakers.
The power amplifier
is very dynamic and will drive the speakers with
a deep powerful bass and a very high
resolution smooth midrange with
a detailed soundstage.
A dual-mono construction,
the H2A mk2 is using the exclusive new
and improved SoundEngine
circuits in the amplification stages. The
H2A mk2
can be connected to both balanced and unbalanced
pre amplifiers. The speaker outputs has
got two pairs of heavy duty high quality gold plated terminals for both channels.
