The P2A is using a digitally controlled volume
attenuator, and an innovative line gain stage
and output linedriver stage.
This will give the listener
improved pinpointing of
instruments, smoother mid range
and treble.The preamplifier P2A
mk2 is the brain of the HEGEL high-end system.
The
HEGEL P2A mk2 collects the signal from any connected input source and delivers it
without adding or subtracting, using
state of the art amplifier
modules.
Based on the same technology
platform as the bigger sibling
P4A mk2, the P2A mk2 offers identical features with
high performance
preamp line stages and true balanced signal processing.
P2A mk2 is extremely user friendly and require no prior
experience with high-end music systems or similar products.
It has only
three knobs:
A power knob, a knob for selecting music sources, and a
motorized volume control. Input source, volume and mute can be controlled by the
included RC2 remote control.
P2A mk2 can be connected to music sources like
CD player, SACD/DVD-player, MD-player, cassette player, DA-converter, tuner and
TV.
