Is the Hegel P2A mk2 available in different colors?
The Hegel products are available in the standard "Pearl silver" colour. The finish is made by blasting
the solid aluminium front panel
and knobs with tiny glass particles and anodizing the surface.
The top cover is brushed and anodized
aluminium.
Can the P2A mk2 input source selector be controlled from the remote control?
The P2A mk2 source selector can be controlled from the RC2 remote control.
Can the Hegel P2A mk2 be used with other amplifiers than the Hegel H2A
mk2?
All the different Hegel units has got a neutral sound signature, so that they can be used together with
other high quality audio units from different manufacturers. However we recommend you to listen to a
combination of a P2A mk2 and a H2A
mk2, since this combination has got a very high performance.
Is the Hegel P2A mk2 true balanced?
The P2A mk2 is using true electronically balanced circuitry all the way from the inputs to the outputs.
What is the difference between the
P2A mk2 and the
P4A mk2?
The P2A mk2 is using less advanced amplifier stages than the
P4A mk2.
