Is the Hegel P4A mk2 available in different colors?
The Hegel products are available in the standard "Pearl silver" colour. The finish is made by blasting
the solid Aluminium front panel with tiny glass particles and anodizing the surface. Knobs, side panels
and top cover are brushed anodized silver.
Can the P4A mk2 input source selector be controlled from the remote control?
The P4A mk2 source selector can be controlled from the RC2 remote control.
Can the Hegel P4A mk2 be used with other amplifiers than the Hegel H4A
mk2?
All the different Hegel units has got a neutral sound signature, so that they can be used together with
other high quality audio units from different manufacturers. The
P4A mk2 has got a very low output impedance
and can drive any connected cable and high quality power amplifier. However we recommend you to listen to
a combination of a P4A mk2 and a H4A
mk2, since this combination has got a very high performance.
Is the Hegel P4A mk2 true balanced?
The P4A mk2 is using true electronically balanced circuitry all the way from the inputs to the outputs.
