We are so very proud and humbled to once again win an EISA award for one of our products. This is the 8th EISA award we have won in 9 years. We are especially proud of winning in what is arguably the most difficult category in HiFi. Making an amplifier that has a great built-in DAC and a very capable streaming section that also sounds incredible is not easy, and the competition in this category is fierce. Winning this EISA award is proof that all our hard work and dedication is appreciated and spurs us on to continue developing great-sounding products!

This is what the EISA jury said about the H400: "This beautifully engineered amplifier takes its cues from Hegel's earlier H390, making improvements to its streaming platform, DAC and preamp stages - plus introducing app control - to deliver a streaming amp of undeniable appeal. As we've come to expect from the Norwegian marque, the H400's power output proves prodigious, making this an accomplished driver of 'hungry' loudspeakers, while its natural, transparent sound signature brings your music to life with ease. No genre is off limits, and with streaming options including Tidal Connect, Google Cast, UPnP and Airable radio/podcasts (plus the H400's range of wired inputs) you'll have no difficulty finding something to play."

At Hegel, we not only strive for excellent sound but also for ease of use. Our goal is to be the best possible endpoint for the music and audio services people use in their daily lives. With H600 we are closer to reaching that goal than ever. The streaming platform in H600 is the most powerful of any Hegel product to date. That means it is also highly upgradeable and future-proof, with new features and services being added as they become available.

Hegel is proud to announce that the first of these upgrades is Chromecast built-in™. Because Chromecast built-in fits perfectly with our philosophy of great sound and ease of use. With Chromecast built-in on Hegel H600, your phone becomes your remote. Simply tap the Cast button from apps you already know and love. No new logins or downloads are required. Use your phone to search, play, pause, and turn up the volume from anywhere in the home. While you're streaming, you can keep using your phone for other things - scroll through social media, send a text, and even accept calls. You can even enjoy music throughout your house when you use multi-room casting with Chromecast-enabled speakers. Chromecast built-in works with hundreds of apps and new apps are being added all the time.

To start using Chromecast built-in, a short setup procedure is required. Just download the Hegel Setup app on Google Play or Apple® App Store® and follow the instructions in the app.

We are incredibly proud to announce that two products Hegel is launching in its 25th year are lauded with the prestigious EISA award. H600 received the award for Best High-End Streaming Amplifier. "Benefiting from an upgraded digital stage built around a new DAC chip and network board, Hegel's H600 is a worthy successor to the spectacular H590 streaming amplifier. The company's bespoke SoundEngine 2 error-cancelling technology is on hand to deliver a sound with abundant detail and control, aided by a comprehensively redesigned preamp stage that guarantees an organic, honest and compelling performance. All flavours of loudspeaker are welcome, thanks to the H600's hugely powerful '2x303W' output. Generous connectivity, in addition to its LAN port, includes digital inputs on USB-B (384kHz/32-bit; DSD256), three on optical and two via coaxial sockets. Aesthetically pleasing and easy to use, this flagship integrated is a tour de force." - wrote the EISA committee about the H600.

We are incredibly proud to announce that two products Hegel is launching in its 25th year are lauded with the prestigious EISA award. Viking received the award for Best High-End CD Player. "This player from the Norwegian marque takes an unapologetically purist approach, focused on extracting every last drop of performance from your CD collection. To that end, Hegel has engineered a high-quality AKM-based DAC stage and fully balanced analogue output, each fed by separate power supplies, while its proprietary SoundEngine technology also works to suppress digital jitter. An aesthetic match for Hegel's latest pre/power amplifier designs, the Viking's premium-grade sound has to be heard: articulate, three-dimensional and faithful to the source, it makes long listening sessions an absolute pleasure. Excellent build quality and supreme ease-of-use only heighten this CD spinner's appeal." - wrote the EISA committee about the H600.

Great news for everyone connecting their TV to their amplifier. All of Hegel's current integrated amplifiers can now be controlled by the TV remotes of most major TV brands. The TV remote functionality even wakes the Hegel amplifier from standby and switches to the right input. All you have to do is press the volume button on your TV remote. Check out this video for a more detailed description. Make sure to update your device in the Device Menu to get started. This feature works with most Samsung, Sony, LG, and Philips infrared (IR) and Smart TV remotes. It can even be made to work with your Apple TV Siri remote. Hegel is proud to announce that the H390 and H590 integrated amplifiers have received Roon Ready certification from Roon Labs. Following the Roon Ready update for H120 and H190 in March, Hegel now has a full lineup of Roon Ready integrated amplifiers. Both the H390 and the H590 have received high remarks from hi-fi reviewers and users alike, in part because the products are so complete. Yes, they are both very good sounding amplifiers, but they also come with a very capable DAC and many different streaming options. With Roon Ready, these amplifiers have become even more versatile.

"Hegel is a small Norwegian audio company with a big reputation. In just a few years, the brand has gone from 'wasn't he a philosopher?' to one of the keenest choices for the discerning audiophile seeking out high-performance audio electronics. A good deal of the reason why Hegel has proved so remarkably successful comes down to the innovative circuits designed by Bent Holter, the technical brains behind the brand, who first published papers on audio distortion in 1988. That thesis formed the backbone of Hegel's SoundEngine technology, the first of seven original technical solutions to audio problems that Hegel uses in its audio electronics. The company has been building high-performance digital audio and amplification since the early 1990s, and recently finally responded to almost everyone's requests - the company produced its first-ever phono stage."

Hegel has taken its time adding a dedicated phono stage to its acclaimed series of amplifiers, but it's been worth the wait. The V10 is designed to service a wide range of moving-coil and moving-magnet cartridges, aided by its highly flexible gain, loading and subsonic filter settings that are selected via a matrix of DIP switches underneath the black case. Indeed, the elegant but functional Norwegian styling belies the scope of this vinyl-loving preamp. So it's worth taking the time to dial-up the optimum settings and realise a sound that's both smooth and gloriously insightful, and clearly 'voiced' to partner Hegel's other electronics.

Reviewers across the world are falling in love with the V10, Hegel’s first phono preamplifier. "Effortlessly smooth, gloriously insightful and impeccably voiced for a crystal-clear performance, the V10 is an absolute triumph." - HiFi Choice (UK). We are pleased to announce our new integrated amplifier. In fact, the H95 is not just an amplifier, but also a complete streaming solution. Its built-in software is upgradeable over the air, ensuring that improved functionalities and new features are delivered directly to your amplifier, with no hassle, and cost free.

"Sure, your speakers will probably sound better than they've ever sounded before, but this is incredible quality control rather than sheer brute force. £9,000 is a tidy sum for an integrated amplifier, but if I was told it was double this figure I wouldn't have questioned it."

"The Hegel H190 needs a loudspeaker with smooth treble and good bass extension, but the fact that it has so much control over the low end makes the range of options wider than average. Strongly recommended."

"If I was creating a home theatre from scratch and my amplifier budget was up to $2,000 per channel, I would go with as many C55 amplifiers as needed for the number of channels and save a bit of my budget to use elsewhere."

"The H390 is sensationally good value, with a clean, powerful sound and bags of musicality, not to mention exceptional flexibility including onboard network streaming. And all this for just over half the price of the H590 flagship..."
